I submitted this photo 5 years ago and retouched it slightly. We're coming to the end of alligator mating season here in Florida. The offspring are on their way to vying for dominance and hopefully survive to pass along their genes. This photo was taken March 2014 at Myakka River state park. Most people don't realise that crocodillian have their softer side. Not to put them into the same category as a box full of kitten's or puppy's but they have their moments as shown here.
