As I mentioned in my last post we hadn't visited Lettuce Lake park in several months, and one of the changes is the renovation of the visitor centre (The ARC -Audubon Resource centre). I couldn't go in, but noticed big Joe standing guard. This fiberglass gator has been in the centre for at least 15 years. I am a bit sentimental about the old place, but it was so mildewy (Not sure if a word) it would be nice to go and see what improvements they make and not have it smell like an old basement.
