This is the last photo I have of our alligator friends that sleep on the water fountain base. The complex keeps the fountain on almost all the time now. We think obviously it is to keep guys like this from loitering. In the wee hours of the morning when I walk to my car and head from work, I am not worried about something like what's pictured here creeping up on me, but more the Muscovy ducks that sleep right behind my car and take forever to move when I backup! Gators have been known to sleep under cars especially during colder months to stay warm. Thank you for the kind words lately for what it's worth. I took this picture 4 years ago I believe.
