This little bee kept trying to evade me during a visit with my dad to the Book Cliffs just outside of Grand Junction, CO. I was going to throw in the towel, but decided to take a 'to heck with it' shot and just put the lens almost on top of the bee without looking in the viewfinder. Talk about getting lucky!
