A view from the top of Cheddar Gorge which is part of The Mendips. A small range of hills with a flat plateux on top through which Cheddar Gorge runs. Although its only about 300m about sea level it seems very high compared to the Somerset Levels which are very flat indeed as you can see. In this view you can also see Cheddar Reservior
