This is what happens when you lug a tripod with you. You're tempted by crows on a power line, moths on a leaf and maybe a buzzard hovering in the distance, but nothing that would inspire you to set it up and all the while, that tripod is getting heavier and heavier. There were occasions when you wonder about leaving it to die on the side of the path, when suddenly, there's a commotion in the bush; a murder of crows are bugging the heck out of something in a tree. I'm glad this guy sat around while I got the darn thing out! I might take it with me more often after this. [check out his front plumage]
