Ah, the hills, the sea breeze and the sound of sheep bleating in the distance.

I was walking down this track to the point above this farm (where I took a quick snap) and was then looking forward to the 'downhill stretch' when around the corner comes a platoon of squaddies, full pack at full tilt and sweating like driven mules.

Proud to see that they didn't waver and kept on pluggin away up the hill. Then there's me, anorak, os map and a thermos. One of those 'when worlds collide' moments.

I suspect that this farm hasn't changed in centuries.
