When I was a kid, my father, his brothers, my grandfather, and some of their friends all gathered once a week for the beer guzzling, cigar smoking, chip eating, and profanity-laden ritual known as Friday Night Poker... Most of the time, they all congregated at my father's house because he had the most space, the largest card table, and was always the one within the closest proximity of his respective neighborhood convenience/deli/liquor store (Which always helped LOL!)

--- Anyway, until my grandfather finally showed me the terminology pertained to Jacks in profile view, I used to think, "One-Eyed Jacks are Wild" ...meant THIS! Whoa! When I think of the number of times I wasted looking through a deck of cards!
