..And it DOES too! This one's for those that are Type 1(non-functioning pancreas) or Type 2 (scant pancreatic activity -myself- on insulin, however)...wherever they are in life...

I hate this @%*...

-You've got an A1C number looming over your head, like the Sword of Damoclease...

-You've got new words in your vocabulary like "hyperglicemic", "hypoglicemic", and "keotones"...

-Your "best friend" is a stupid meter...

-You can't handle stress like you used to...

-You gotta inject yourself like you were some kind of junkie...

>:(AND THE FOOD):<...Ecccch!...some of this...er crap that they call "diabetic safe" or "diabetic friendly"...You don't know what you're getting! I've heard opinions like "cardboard", "iron filings", "plastic"...etc...I call some of it "used upholstery" myself...

...So, to reduce torture to my tastebuds...I just eat real miniscule amounts of the "good stuff" (sugar and excessive carbs excluded) and I'm all right...

...Just don't get me near a Geiger counter! (LOL)
