Another Halloween-inspired Goth creation...Symbolism...Symbolism...This Halloween also has another special meaning to me as well...It was 30 years ago (1979) less than a week prior to Halloween, When my stepmother threw me out of the house...unprepared at 17 years of age...with just the clothes on my back...into a "dog-eat-dog" (excuse me) world...and I have more or less learned that the best way to do things (good or bad) is on your own...under your own power...
...OK...enuff...This composition is a spooky salute to the opera Pagliacci, (Pronounced "PAL-EE-AHH-CHEE"...and NOT confused with... I, Pagliacci...as so many, including myself...tend to mistake the title) originally created by Ruggero Leoncavallo, back in the latter part of the 19th century...The whole opera ...from the inspiration that went into creating it...to the way it's presented...is, in my opinion, mysterious...and quite a brainload to figure out! I guess it's just meant to be enjoyed...
Wow! And I thought my life was crazy...Mine is mere "Child's Play" (Umm...Ooops!)...compared to some scenarios!
