--- Meet Elaine Hudson (aka "Laney"), younger sister of Scaryn... Like her sister, she's also a resident of Spiderdale, but lives in an apartment with a roommate on the opposite end of town... She works for a local small mobile communications dealer, selling and (more often than not) servicing smartphones and tablets, and is quite proficient at what she does, having learned everything she knows on her own while she was still in junior high and high school...

...Clearly a Gen Z'er, Laney also knows how to be totally self-reliant and practical (like her older sister), having decided not to spend her precious time wasting away in college (also like her sister), going deeper and deeper into financial dire straits via any student loans and getting nowhere fast - like quite a few of the people she knows! Instead, she learned how to find the cracks in an already broken system, and made the situation work to her advantage... She's clearly a survivor!
