One of the locks, that lowered canal boats onto the Maumee River, in Side Cut Metropark, near Toledo. Originally there were six locks, constructed between 1825 and 1847. Three are left in existence. Side Cut Park is so named, because it was a side cut of the Miami & Erie Canal.
