This is my first true macro shot of any kind. The foofy is no bigger than a nickel, and the lens was only about an inch away from the thing. It was taken with the Canon G9, which has a macro setting.

For those of you who do not know what a nickel is, it is an American coin, that measures about ⅞ inches in diameter, or 22.2 mm.
