This was taken April 4th, at 6:45am EDT with a Canon SX520 HS super zoom camera on a tripod, at a focal length of 1008mm. A couple of minutes later, the moon was down behind the trees, and couldn't get the eclipse as it progressed further. I did not notice any color in the moon, until I looked at it after snapping the shot. I have never seen a "blood moon" with the naked eye, so I don't know if the color is supposed to be there or not. Maybe I am becoming color blind in my old age. (Except when looking at pictures.) lol.
