About a week before Verena left us she started viewing and commenting on some of my work and made me her friend. I greatly appreciated it, especially because I'm new here, and was completely shocked and saddened when I saw she had died. She had commented on my photo "Lily Pad Pond" and said she would like to see a better view of the bridge. I wish she could have seen it, but now I am dedicating it to her memory.
