We were approached by this gentleman in Mid Town a section of Baton Rouge . He befriended us immediately and spent the afternoon with us, as if he was giving us a tour . When it came time for us to part we said our goodbyes and he returned to a nice shady spot under a tree at his home. His home is among several buildings of antique and art shops . The kind people who own these shops have given him and a few others a home. They supply them with food , water , shelter and love. It warms the heart to see how these people have extended their hand to help these creatures. They are no longer homeless . We told our new friend that we would be back to see him.
