St George’s Hall, Liverpool.England. Opened in 1854, over 10 years after it was commissioned, it is now a central feature of Liverpool’s architecture, regarded by many to be the best example of Neo-Classical architecture in Europe. A regular visitor to the hall was Charles Dickens who held many of his readings in the 'Small Concert Hall'. The interior is dominated by the main hall 169 feet long with a floor of Minton tiles. The statue is Thomas Thornycroft's 1870 bronze 'Equestrian Statue of Prince Albert'. . . . ..Kodak V550
