This impressive structure is The Waitaki Boy's High School Hall of Memories, Oamaru, NZ, which was officially opened by HRH The Duke of York (later King George the VI) on 16th of March 1927. Made of local Oamaru stone (limestone) in perpendicular Gothic or Tudor. School assemblies, prizegivings and ceremonies are held in here and often Old Boys return to be married within its walls. . . . Floreat Waitakia, esto perpetua !
