This was taken at the Back of Fleur's Place, a seafood restaurant built on an early whaling station site at Moeraki, North Otago, New Zealand. This is where I get taken for lunch on my birthday :) . . Chef and food writer Rick Stein wrote: "While in New Zealand I hope to do two things - visit Fleur's Place in Moeraki and eat Bluff Oysters." I don't know if he was lucky enough to eat Bluff Oysters but he did visit Fleur's Place and gave it a shining review. . .
