Meet Percy Wiseman the Rhododendon that lives in my garden.
Yesterday (Monday) was a holiday here in NZ and I looked forward to a visit to our local public gardens to get some Rhododendron photos, but a howling gale put paid to that. I stayed home and made a fruit cake instead :).
I did venture out in the garden and shot Percy just before a downpour, which was a good reason to retreat inside for a slice of cake and a cup of coffee.
