Another feature of the Wonderland garden where the little fountain I posted earlier is - the two and a half metre bronze Wonderland statue designed by Thomas J Clapperton. It was inspired by the Peter Pan statue in Kensington Gardens, London. Clapperton dressed the figures in modern dress to represent all children. It was presented and dedicated to the children of the town by the Mayor Robert Milligan in 1927.
