I have decided to post a few more photos from the Gallipoli Exhibition following requests on my previous posts. Those of you interested please have another look at Taking a Break as I have added to my narrative after finding out who he was.So very very tragic.

This one is Lieutenant Spencer Westmacott (1885-1960)an officer with the 16th Waikato Regiment which departed New Zealand in October 1914.
He was a farmer, an artist and a writer. He lost his right arm at Gallipoli. You can see some of his paintings and a bit more about his life if you click HERE
