This little Fennec Fox (Vulpes zerda) is only about 20cm tall and weighs 1.5 kg when fully grown.
They are native to the deserts of Africa and are nocturnal animals that live together in families, the adults being monogamous. Their enormous ears radiate body heat and help keep them cool.
This one lives with some others in the Honolulu Zoo and was acting true to type by sleeping during the day :)
