Twizel is the largest town in the MacKenzie District and this spot is a short distance away on the main highway. The road is about 1 metre behind me here. This is a favorite stopping place for me in the late afternoon at this time of year. This time others also had the same idea and there were about 20 photographers and drone operators along the bank.
