Another sunflower shot from last week.
This is taken from the roadside, along which is part of New Zealand's 22 Cycle Trails. They are known (in Maori) as "Ngā Haerenga" which means "The Journeys". The length of the country, 3000 km can be cycled along these trails.
This one is The Alps to Ocean Trail, covering 55 km.
As to the sunflowers, they are grown for birdseed, and soon they will be harvested.
