This is an old photo from 2020, taken from the Kawarau Gorge Suspension bridge whose shadow is on the water. AJ Hackett's first commercial bungy jump in the world opened here, in Queenstown New Zealand in November 1988. Back then it cost $75 to jump. Now it is $265. It is a 43 metre jump. Once upon a time I wanted to do it but standing on the edge of the jumping platform was enough !
