This is on the 'Ilha Deserta' (Desert Island), part of a nature reserve next to Faro airport, Portugal. Took a boat out across the water ways and wetlands to this Island. Saw some waders and other interesting birds (e.g. Curlew, Whimbrel, Turnstone, Grey Plover, Oyster Catcher, Crested Lark). A great day out!! Website: www.ilha-deserta.com
