I've had this photo in my file for a while, I liked the lines and the mood but it was terribly grainy and it was horribly square so I kept not knowing what to do with it. I eventually decided to try it as a "painting" so I stretched the aspect, did plenty of grain filtering and warp sharpening as well as some work with colours and shadow recovery and finally ran it thru a "painting" filter. I'm happy with the outcome, maybe the next time I'm at this spot, Dunaverty Bay on Kintyre Peninsula, Scotland, I'll get a better shot that doesn't need "rescuing". :)
