Byron Bay is a semi famous coastal town in eastern Australia. It's a beautiful area now somewhat of a mecca for the rich and the hippy. The whole coastline in that area is shipping hazardous and the Byron Bay lighthouse is one of many. This is the view from the lighthouse down to the rocks. Plenty of whales sighted of this coast as well but none when I had my camera at the ready. Another shot from my 08 road trip, taken with the Canon S3IS.
