Next to one of the fishing villages on Koh Chang I found this boat yard. It exuded such a sense of neglect and decay I had to photograph it. Clearly I've manipulated it, my intention being to emphasise the mood it conveyed to me without losing the details. The manipulation included, solarizing, various layer masks, embossing, addition of noise, select dodging of highlights, airbrushing framing elements to help the boats "lift" and various manipulations in the curves tool. Worth seeing fullsize and just a touch Halloweeny.
