River flats at one end of the Hume Reservoir in Victoria, Australia. From the dead (Drowned) trees in the distance I presume the water table from the reservoir is close to the surface here, but just deep enough down for these two trees to survive. Their size tells you it's been about ten years since this end of the reservoir was filled with water. Victoria has been having a lot of rain these last few months (Not yet clear if they will be "drought breaking" rains.) so right now the roots of these trees might already be underwater again.

Enjoy.

Mikel.
