From the very top of Whoolshed Falls, Beechworth. Most probably won't particularly like the shadowy quality but I enjoyed the play of shadow and light lines across all those rock lines and angles, must be my fascination with complexity coming out. :) The image has plenty of shadow detail at full size but a bit dark thumbnail size.
Enjoy.
Mikel.
Additional info, this was used for gold mining in the old days and that's where the name stems from, the miners referred to this particular falls (There are quite a few in the area) as the falls near the woolshed, as the pastoralists were here long before the miners were. I have other shots of this top of the falls area, from below, which show the "chute" that's not so obvious in this image, chewed out of the rock by the miners to funnel all the water from upstream thru one narrow channel for mining purposes.
