An Egret taking off from the Shirakawa river in Kyoto at dusk. I was on a bridge which gave this great viewpoint. Low light made the detail in this shot quite a surprise. Kyoto has an amazing amount of wildlife, particularly birdlife, which totally enhanced my "walking around" experience in surprising ways, like this shot.
