THIS IMAGE IS NOT TO BE POSTED ON ANY OTHER WEBSITE: The Natchez Trace Parkway is a 444-mile (715 km) scenic drive from Natchez, Mississippi to Nashville, Tennessee. It's a beautiful drive through exceptional scenery and 10,000 years of North American history. Used by American Indians, "Kaintucks", settlers, and future presidents, the Old Trace played an important role in American history. I only traversed about 107 miles of it from Natchez to Jacksonville en route to the get-together in St Louis. This image is of a civil war period stopover for tired troops. This is a composite of 3 images all taken at different exposures better known as an HDR image.
