It’s a darn good thing I didn’t have $5,000 in my hip pocket when I went to the Mt Hope, Ohio Saturday auction or I would have had to try to figure out how to transport this horse all the way home in my van. What? Well, I could cut a hole in the roof.............. When I arrived in town that day there so many Amish buggies everywhere, that I knew something special was going on. It was the monthly horse auction so that I had to see. The Amish KNOW good horseflesh. This is a perfect specimen of a top notch horse. He sold for $5000. But, you think this one is beautiful? Wait till I show you the one I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally wanted? P.S. Sorry for the lag in posting my Amish series. Wound up in the hospital for several days with pancreatitis.
