When my son was first learning photography, he was fascinated with the squirrels in the backyard and captured their many antics. It seemed that he couldn't finish a photo shoot without a squirrel being in the sequence somewhere. He even included a squirrel in some of his assignments when he took photography in college. Thus, when I find a squirrel in my walks, I make sure that the obligatory squirrel is included in honor of my photographer son.
