There is no category for "Photography: Fruit"; so, I stuck this under flowers. This one is quite a departure for me, but I couldn't pass it up. Today we drove out Santa Rosa Creek Rd to the abandoned persimmon orchard. There are hundreds of trees with tens of thousands of persimmons being eaten by the local bird population. Luckily for us dozens of trees hang over the fence line into the right-of-way. We filled up two grocery sacks full of persimmons. Send me a private message if you want any.
