This blackbird is a regular visitor and sits on his favourite rail. The photo was taken yesterday. This is the mating season for them. He has not yet found a partner and therefore keeps whistling continuously, calling out for any female that may answer. Won't that be a good idea for a young unattached man in search of a partner to sit on a park bench with a whistle? It will save a lot of effort, time and money :)
