This is the Grand Place in Brussels, Belgium. A lovely, vibrant, colourful and historic place. Victor Hugo lived in this building (....or...maybe the one next to it! Anyway, in one of the buildings in Grand Place!) for a few years; there is a plaque in his honour on that building.
