This is the South Tower of Tutbury castle. You entered this part through a large wooden door and went down stone steps into what used to look like a big room at one time, but was very muddy the day I went there. The reason being was that there was no roof, and when you look up, this image is what you see! It had been a grey day as you could see from my last posting of Tutbury castle, but just at that moment a piece of blue sky appeared which I thought was just in time for this photograph!
