This is for my dear friend John (casechaser) as I know he would like to visit Blenheim Palace one day. So thought I would create this collage as a taster of the palace grounds and features. You can see a stepped back capture of the colonnades, the Italian garden and the water gardens and terraces. It is a beautiful place and I hope to go back again one day. These images were taken at the end of last November while attending a Christmas fair. It was bitterly cold, but the sun did shine for a while. This was also the birth place of Sir Winston Churchill and we were able to tour the inside of this magnificant building and actually walked through the room in which he was born. Sadly we were not allowed to take photo's indoors, but I can assure you it was just as grand and beautiful as the outside. Thanking you in advance for any comments.
