Apophysis... not sure which version; most likely 2.07. BD's Droste-Plastic-Epispiral Script was used, followed by post-processing in Photoshop Elements 2.0. (Just to prove it's still limping along...)
It makes me think of embroidered material, but somebody got in a bit of a tangle, I think!
