Must be seen at full screen... This is a simple layering of two photos; neither has been retouched in any way. The first is a 1/250 sec exposure of the moon. The second is a 30 sec exposure of a star field. Best viewed in the dark (it is the only way to see about 2/3 of the smaller stars visible here). A nighttime desktop in my opinion~
