If you go as far north along the eastern coast of the US you will come to the most easterly point in the entire country... West Quoddy Head light near Lubec, Maine. Along a trail from there are several unique features... Arctic Bogs with totally specialized plants. This pic is from one of those bogs. The most amazing thing is that this is completely un-messed with... those are the real colors! The reddish odd ones are carnivorous pitcher plants.
