These have just begun to open up in the last day or so. The tiny flowerlets on the cone have just barely begun to pop open. These are also known as "Mexican Hat" and "Thimbleflower" here. Any breeze at all makes them wave wildly, so it's hard to catch 'em standing still. Y'all enjoy!
