I liked the quality of this photograph Just a tad better than my previous Blue Heron post. I was able to get it mostly right in the camera. I also stabilized my camera with a mono pod. The background aided in the light and over all color and detail. The sun was at the right and just about 4:00 P.M. in the afternoon. I took plenty of shots at about 100 feet away. This seemed to the one I preferred. It is an amazing bird to watch as it hunts for its food.
