He is a really good exposed bird and pretty sharp details as well but it just pleased me to make this more of a painting than just another bird picture. I could post the actual shot later but I hope you like this. It takes just the right adjustments in Lightroom4 to get to this painted look. It is entirely adjusting various settings and not using a painting filter such as you would find in Photoshop. I like Photoshop but I wanted only small adjustments.
