I wanted to capture this tree and its color but also I wanted that nice sky. It wasn't going to happen so I moved till the sun was fully behind the tree and exposed for the tree then dropped my exposure a stop to get the mood of the sun light glazing the tree. Taking it into Lightroom 4 I adjusted the shadows just a little but not too much I just wanted a hint of color and a glowing atmosphere.
