In this image rather than looking for realism, I am more trying to convey a thought that I have right now. After coming to my older years I have found the necessity to slow down and enjoy the ride more. While I was younger it was rush rush. I had to get somewhere and get there fast. Like this drawing I basically was tearing up the roads...so impatient. I would invariably get frustrated with those that would slow me down or be in my way...selfish. Now that I am becoming more settled I ponder why did I have to be that way. It is a blessing I survived all those years. I am actually happier and less stressed now that I have slowed down...oh that I could have found that freedom earlier. If you are pulled to the dark side of rush rush I encourage you to slow down and enjoy yourself more and let others breathe a sigh of relief.
