Another one for my people series. This one caught my eye in Mumbai recently. These guys are demolishing the building by hand. Hard to believe, but true. The hut you can see in the background is where they will live until the job is finished. And by live I mean literally live, away from their families, for as long as it takes. Now you might ask why not just demolish the building with explosives? The whole job will be done in less than a day. Well, the developer is happy because it is considerably less expensive and the workers are happy because they are employed and get a daily wage. Your comments, as usual, are welcome and valued.
